British tell immigrants not to immigrate there

While the American politicians are bending backwards to support illegal immigrants, the English are choosing an opposite path.  They want to tell potential immigrants that the United Kingdom is not paradise and they should not relocate there.  Under the EU treaty, citizens of poor countries in the Union can simply move wherever they want and these folks then move to rich countries, collect welfare, burden the native taxpayers, and make no contribution.  The UK government is running a campaign in Bulgaria and Romania to "correct the impression that the streets here are paved with gold."
