Memoirs of a Geisha movie review

I have never understood the rationale for paying someone to chitchat with you. If I feel like talking to new people, there are so many avenues for doing so without spending a penny (except maybe paying for a drink or meal). My experience living in Japan , however, tells me that it is the norm in Japan. I have visited so many bars in Tokyo and Osaka with my ex-colleagues and friends where not only did you pay for your drinks, you also spent a fortune on a companion who does nothing more than pour drinks, giggle at your stupid jokes, and try to make you feel important. While geisha is supposedly an artist (neither a hostess nor a prostitute, though she can become a mistress in some cases), her more important role is to make a man feel what he aspires to be and what his wife may not find credible. For these reasons and to understand the world of geishas in Japan, the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" is a must watch. It might seem like a documentary on the life of a geisha, but

Shanna Moakler, Travis Barker reunite

Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker , who were supposedly in this fairytale romance at one time, had an ugly breakup . She is reportedly to have celebrated end of her marriage by cutting a cake with her husband's image on it. During the interim period she also dated Jay Grdina (who was divorced by Jenna Jameson ). While I generally support the idea that couples do not divorce and if they do, try to reconcile for the sake of children (they have two kids: Landon and Alabama). Bizarre that it sounds, this couple is now back together. "I think [it was] love , keeping our family together and believing in ourselves...We're just trying to move forward with a clean slate," Barker told PEOPLE magazine. "We're pulling out of the separation . We're still married ," Shanna Moakler said. Well, I think they are a role model for reconciling but not for breaking up .

Prince William, Kate Middleton breakup

Dating a prince ain't easy. Just look at what happened to Japanese Princess Masako, who abandoned her career as a diplomat, and has been depressed since her marriage to Crown Prince Naruhito. There are some reports that Empress Michiko was never very happy in her marriage either to Emperor Akihito. And we also know what happened to Princess Diana. So was the Queen right in intervening in the relationship of Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton ? Time will tell but it seems that William himself was not very happy with the relationship . Plus, it had turned into a long distance relationship . But what about the rumors about engagement and wedding? They were all in the imagination of British tabloids. In any case, it is always sad to go through a breakup and probably even sadder when you can no longer dream of being the Queen of England.
