Oh look, under Obamacare our health insurance premiums dropped

Since my wife and I are self-employed, we buy our own health insurance.  While we love so many things about being entrepreneurs and working from home, it does hurt having to pay 100% of our premiums.  Sadly enough, during last so many years, regardless of what happened to the economy or our revenues, two things have consistently gone up: our health insurance premiums and real estate taxes (yes, even though property prices were falling in our area, and our town lowered the assessed value of our home, they still raised our taxes).  And all this time while every single Republican was attacking Obamacare and the media was screaming about how the world as we know it would end, we were becoming sleepless not knowing what would happen to our premiums.  Well, now we know.  As the time of renewal came and the deadline for Massachusetts health insurance to comply with Affordable Care Act (ACA) arrived, we have been informed that our monthly premium will drop by 15%, giving us a net saving of almost $2,000 each year.  Thank you President Obama!
